Synopsis[]

The mourners gather in the village, as Cindy, Mandy, Angela, Steph, Tom, O.B., Darren, Jack, Tony and Dom escort Max out of Hollyoaks for the final time. Sad that Max has gone, Tom decides he now knows who he wants to look after him – O.B. Unprepared for Tom's request, OB promises that he'll never leave Tom.

Plot[]

The attendees get ready for Max's funeral. Leo is adamant on taking Sasha to the doctors. Angela arrives at 3a Oakdale Drive. Darren points out that he and Max went to school together. Calvin is annoyed when Carmel won't tell him why she was in Leeds. Tom and O.B. decide not to attend the funeral. The villagers stand around Max's hearse before they head to the church.

Leo is unsympathetic as Sasha complains about the recovery process. Steph reads O.B.'s speech. Afterwards, she sings 'About You Know', as her singing it in the flat drove Max crazy. As Max is buried, Darren comforts Steph. Carmel tells Calvin about Alek. Tom & O.B. watch home videos of them and Max.
