Lindsey Helen Roscoe (née Butterfield) was the older sister of Kim and Kath Butterfield, the wife of Freddie Roscoe and the mother of JJ and Lexi Roscoe. Lindsey was a serial killer who killed specific hospital patients with a lethal dosage of potassium chloride throughout 2015, and was strangled to death by serial killer Silas Blissett in May 2016.
Biography[]
2013-2014: Arrival, Browning's Murder & Joe's Disappearance[]
Lindsey arrives in June 2013 when its seen she's the new nurse at Dee Valley University Hospital and she begins to clash and have a feud with Paul Browning not long after her Arrival Lindsey is revealed to be the girlfriend of Joe Roscoe and is rather close to the rest of the Roscoe family. Lindsey is later accidentally ran over by Frankie Osbornewhich causes her to loose her baby she was pregnant with months finds herself enticed in his murder after his killed by his the wifeMercedes Browning and by November 2013, Lindsey helps Mercedes along with their friend Cindy Cunningham whom also witnessed the killing attempts to get rid of Browning's body by making it look like a suicide by pushing his car off the clip and the girls are helped by Freddie Roscoe who tells Lindsey of when he was forced to move Richie Trent's body by Trevor Royle later in the same months Lindsey prepares to marry Joe but discovers he slept with Nancy Osborne causing her to punch Joe later on in December 2013, Lindsey is nearly killed by Trevor but is saved by Freddie in an attempt to get Mercedes to transfer the £500,000.
Lindsey is devastated when Joe seemingly walked out on her by January 2014 however after being kidnapped by Grace Black, Joe is seemingly killed during a demolition job however, Freddie the one whom told Lindsey was lied too by Grace's father and Sandy's husband Fraser Black had lied and Joe was in fact in a coma by March 2014. Lindsey discovers that Freddie has feelings for her and after fighting her feelings towards Freddie, Lindsey finally sleeps with Freddie and the two decide to start a relationship by April 2014 however Hoe is seen arriving at the hospital to their shock and Fraser's lies are finally caught out and is later murdered. Lindsey is shocked when she discovers Freddie is the killer while Joe is arrested but is released after Freddie sets up Sam Lomax. Lindsey would later fall pregnant and give birth to her son JJ Roscoe and is worried that Freddie maybe the father however Joe is soon revealed to be. Lindsey's sister Kim Butterfield arrives by October 2014. Lindsey would then reunite her affair with Freddie in the later half of 2014 and they're affair is finally revealed by December 2014.
2015-2016: Turning Serial Killer, Marriage to Freddie & Working with Silas Blissett[]
Although the show does not reveal to the viewers that Lindsey is a serial killer until later on in the year her victims are claimed throughout the entire year of 2015. Her first victim was Rick Spencer in January 2015 in attempt to make Joe look guilty whom punched Rick on the same night of her affair to Freddie was found out, Lindsey injects Rick with Potassium Chloride and she would do this with all her victims and later on Lindsey claims her second victim only a month later in early February 2015 when she this times injects Will Savage. In March 2015, Lindsey discovers that Mercedes is still agile and is working with Grace in attempt to frame Freddie for Mercedes' murder which Freddie is being accused of she tells Freddie and the two attempt to clear his name.
Lindsey again would claim another victim in Mariam Andrews by May 2015 the very same month she would marry Freddie which would lead to a confrontation between Grace and Freddie as well as Joe which would result in Phoebe McQueen being shot and this leads Lindsey to claim her fourth victim in six months when she injects Phoebe after weeks by mid June 2015 in Phoebe being in a coma, Lindsey would then kills Dylan Jenkins in August 2015 after he was involved in a car crash. Lindsey would then claim a further two victims by October 2015 in gangster Ashley Davidson and Charles S'Avage she then seemingly kills Freddie and its during this where its revealed she's The Gloved Hand Killer. After the murder Lindsey tells her sister Kim about her murders and moves Freddie's supposed deceased body to the boot of Trevor's car which leads to his arrest.
Lindsey would again fall pregnant and this time the child would be Freddie's child by January 2016, Trevor is released due to new evidence causing Lindsey to panic and attempts to kill Esther Bloom in an attempt to frame Trevor again after she witnesses an argument between the two however this does not work and Lindsey is surprised when Kim decides to take the blame leading Kim to be imprisoned however Lindsey is found out by both Mercedes and Esther and this leads Lindsey to kidnap Frankie when Kim is freed in however Esther tracks her down and Lindsey is helped by fellow serial killer Silas Blissett and by May 2016, Lindsey gives birth to her daughter Lexi Roscoe but decides to help Silas kill Mercedes however when Silas finds Lindsey had an affair with Freddie. Lindsey is then murdered by Silas putting her reign to an end.
During her murders between 2015 and 2016, Lindsey has had a serious of attempted murders with the likes of Diane Hutchinson, Esther, Mercedes, Joe, Kim, Freddie and Cindy all fallen victims to her. Lindsey also tried to kill her own sister Kath Butterfield due to being jealous of Kim and Kath's bond by pushing her in the lake causing permanent brain damage.

- Esther Bloom, 20th July 2015 - Attempted to inject Esther with potassium chloride, but Esther's heart rate monitor alarmed before she could.
- Freddie Roscoe, 22nd October 2015 - Injected Freddie with potassium chloride. When Freddie's body was found in Trevor Royle's car, D.S. Thorpe noticed Freddie's finger move, revealing he was still alive, and was then placed in witness protection.
