Robert "Robbie" Roscoe is the son of Sandy Roscoe and the late Rick Spencer. He is the twin brother of Jason Roscoe and the half-brother of Darren Osborne, Joe, Freddie and Ziggy Roscoe.
Robbie arrived as a tear away teen and was a clear troublemaker often getting himself into crimes to make money such as committing countless robberies. Robbie was the first Roscoe member to arrived paving way for his family. Robbie's storylines include bullying his teacher John Paul McQueen which would tragically lead to John Paul's rape at the hands of Robbie's accomplice Finn O'Connor although Robbie was sickened by Finn when finding out what Finn had done. Robbie went down a bit of a redemption path by 2014 however he would begin to be the errand boy for the local gangster Trevor Royle perhaps Robbie's most devilish act however is that of sleeping with his brothers (Jason's) girlfriend in Holly Cunningham.
Biography[]
2013-2015: Arrival & Relationships[]
Robbie is first seen in early April 2013 when he enters his first day at Hollyoaks High School and is to not cause any trouble by the schools headmaster, Patrick Blake however despite this warning Robbie decides to bunk off school and is seen taunting Doug Carter which leads to Robbie being reported by Doug to Patrick after Robbie vandalized Doug's business and later on Robbie along with Callum Kane whom Robbie has made a friendship with get revenge on Doug when Robbie takes a photo of him kissing John Paul McQueen whom is a teacher at Hollyoaks High the next day Robbie prints the photos and plasters them around the school and this leads to John Paul being sacked by Patrick. Robbie would then approach Callum into asking him sell drugs with him and Robbie would later work alongside Ste Hay in selling drugs to the college students. Later in the month Robbie steals a van and accidentally runs over someone along with Sinead O'Connor and Callum and it turns out to be Sinead's younger brother, Finn O'Connor whom Robbie would later befriend and coast Finn into committing crime later Robbie and Callum would attempt to rob Price Slice which leads to Robbie accident shooting Callum.
By May 2013 the rest of Robbie's family arrive in the village the first being Freddie who catches Robbie mugging Patrick then his joined by the rest of his brothers in Joe, Ziggy and Jason and soon their mother, Sandy and then Joe's girlfriend Lindsey Butterfield by June 2013. Sandy would later learn of the robbery committed by Robbie and this leads Robbie to be sent away to stay with his uncle Ken but Robbie returns months later and lies to his family that Ken touched him inappropriately so he can return home however this leads to Sandy's news boyfriend, Fraser Black whom is a gangland boss to have Ken beating near to death by Trevor Royle. Robbie would then bond with Phoebe McQueen after she punches him over a remark on Callum's death in October 2013.
Robbie along with Finn would spend months terrorising John Paul often making homophobic remarks and threats of violence however this leads Into January 2014 and Robbie is totally unaware when Finn takes things too far by raping John Paul during a robbery. Robbie eventually finds out and is disgusted by Finn especially when Robbie gave him a hard time for months to the point John Paul beat him up and went to prison for it. During this time Robbie has enter into a relationship with Phoebe whom is also suspicious of Finns out of control behaviour but Robbie would begin to develop feelings towards Nancy Osborne whom is helping with his school work and trouble brews when Robbie kisses Nancy and Phoebe discovers this and tells Robbie's half older brother and Nancy's husband, Darren Osborne but Robbie would later reconcile with Phoebe.
Robbie is taken aback when Fraser is murdered by April 2014 its then revealed Freddie is Fraser's killer in July 2014 and later on Robbie would welcome his estranged father in Rick Spencer in May 2014. Robbie is then delighted when Finn is sentenced to five years in prison in September 2014, Robbie then expresses how sorry he is towards John who forgives Robbie. In December 2014, Robbie is devastated when Rick is seemingly killed by Joe with a single punch however Rick was killed by The Gloved Hand Killer (Lindsey Roscoe). Robbie also supports Jason in the later part of the year upon discover Jason has body body dysmorphia.
2015: Working for Trevor Royle, Phoebe's Death & Relationship with Holly[]
In early 2015 not long after Rick's death. Robbie begins to blame Joe and this leads him to begin acting up by committing crimes again by stealing cars he is then employed by Trevor to steal cars and sell them on for one of Trevor's contacts however this would come to a brief end by March 2015 after Robbie hands himself in to the Police and Trevor is warned off by Robbie's brothers. He also admits to mugging Dirk Savage in the same month. This leads Robbie to be sent to prison during which he discovers that Phoebe had been shot in May 2015 and upon his release Robbie goes to see Phoebe where he then locks himself in her room so she don't die during operation however his talked round by Joe and Freddie and when Phoebe awakens Robbie is told by her that it was Grace Black who had shot her and this leads to Robbie to plan revenge on Grace however Robbie is stopped in his tracks when Joe tells him he was the one who pulled the trigger this leads to Robbie punching Joe and later propose to Phoebe but Phoebe is like Rick killed by the Glove Hand Killer, Robbie attacks Joe which leaves him temporarily paralysed.
Soon after Phoebe's death Robbie decides it best for him to work for Trevor again but Robbie is stunned when Trevor hands him the task of carrying out Kim Butterfield's murder but instead Robbie helps Kim escape later on Robbie kisses Holly Cunningham, Jason's girlfriend and while carrying drugs for Trevor, Jason confronts Robbie and the two fight in a cliff top which leads to Robbie accidentally pushing Jason off afterwards sleeps with Holly where he is arrested by Ben Bradley however Ben gives Robbie a choice to either go to prison for a long time or be an informant and help bring down Trevor while Robbie is against the idea he eventually sees he has no choice but to do so. Robbie is then seen informing Ben on some of Trevor's movements such as planning to kidnap Patrick along with Ashley Davidson which leads them to believe it was Holly which results in her kidnap however Robbie manages to persuade Trevor to let her go and after seeing how dangerous Trevor can be, Robbie tells Ben that he can no longer work for him anymore.
Robbie is then later put in danger by Jason when out of anger and jealousy he tells Trevor that Robbie is the informant working with Grace by October 2015 this leads Trevor to attempt to kill Robbie who enlist Freddie along with Jason who has told Robbie of his wrongdoing this leads the three to jump of a bridge where they become trapped in a huge drain however the three are eventually saved and hospitalised however Robbie is heartbroken to learn the Freddie had been "killed" by Trevor unknown it was Lindsey who injected him with Potassium Chloride and with the help of Kim moved Freddie in the boot of Trevor's car and Robbie is lead to believe Trevor is responsible for the hospital killings. Robbie along with family are devastated when Ziggy dies by December 2015 where its seen Freddie is still alive and is working with D.S. Thorpe in helping bring down Trevor whom is now in prison.
2016: Departure[]
By 2016, Robbie along with his family discover that Freddie is still alive and Robbie would focus more on his relationship with Holly causing a number of clashes with Jason however by March 2016 both Robbie and Jason would decide to depart Hollyoaks and move to South Africa to live with their mother, Sandy and as they board the plan they put the past year behind them just missing out in Holly this leads to Holly drink driving and causing the death of Rachel Hardy when attempting to stop the boys from leaving in April 2016, Robbie is told that Lindsey killed both Rick and Phoebe. In December 2016, Robbie is told by Freddie of Joe's death which is said to have devastated him. In April 2017, Robbie and his remaining family in South Africa are joined by Freddie and his daughter Lexi Roscoe whom was born in May 2016.

- Grace Black, 16th June 2015 - Attempts to kill Grace by attacking her over thinking she was the one who shot Phoebe McQueen however he is stopped by Joe Roscoe.
- Joe Roscoe, 17th June 2015 - Attacks Joe with a crowbar from behind as revenge for Phoebe's death after Joe told him he was the one who accidentally shot her. This attack leaves Joe temporarily paralysed.
