Simone Gloria Loveday (née Deveraux) is the daughter of Gloria and Walter Deveraux, the sister of Martine and Melanie Deveraux, the ex-wife of Louis Loveday and the mother of Lisa and Zack Loveday
Simone first arrived when Darren Osborne was driving his taxi and Simone required his services to get to Hollyoaks Village. She arrived and headed for Price Slice, where Cindy Cunningham was already working, and claimed it to be hers this led the women into a feud however Simone would come out on top as she had legal rights. In June 2015, Simone and Louis along with Zack would be conned by Sonia Albright whom claimed to be Simone and Louis' missing daughter, Lisa but by April 2016, Simone would be pleased when the real Lisa arrives The rest of Simone's storylines Include her discovering Louis' affairs with both Joanne Cardsley and Leela Lomax, sleeping with two criminals in Shane Sweeney and gangland boss, Glenn Donovan whom Simone would conspire to kill alone with Maxine Minniver, Grace Black, Kim Butterfield and Courtney Campbell but by January 2019, Simone along with her son Zack would depart Hollyoaks village in an effort to start a new life.
In January 2020, Simone is said to have been told about Louis death after it was revealed he was murdered by serial killer Breda McQueen and again in December 2021, after being murdered back in July 2020, Martine reveals she had to ring Simone to inform her of Lisa's death at the time Martine was unaware that her own son, Toby Faroe was Lisa's killer.
