Hannah Marie Tointon portrayed Warren Fox's younger sister Katy Fox. She joined the cast in April 2007 and left a year later in April 2008. For her role she won a British Soap Award for Most Spectacular Scene Of The Year which involved her character being driven over a cliff in a car with Clare Devine. She shared the award with Chris Fountain, Jamie Lomas, Gemma Bissix and Matt Littler. Apart from her role in Hollyoaks she is most recognisable for playing Tara Brown in E4's hit show The Inbetweeners. Hannah has an older sister Kara who is also an actress, most famous for playing Dawn Swann in EastEnders.

Other Television Roles Edit

Before being cast in Hollyoaks, Hannah had regular roles in the CBBC Comedy Drama Kerching! and the Sky1 series Dream Team; as well as appearances in The Bill, New Tricks, Doctors and Genie in the House. Since Hannah left Hollyoaks she has had further success with the main role in the British supernatural comedy drama Switch playing Hannah Bright and a main role in series 3's ITV's British-American period television drama series Mr Selfridge playing Violette Selfridge. She has also since appeared in Death in Paradise, The Hour, Midsomer Murders and Sinbad.

Films Edit

Hannah's first taste in film was an uncredited performance as a concert goer in Just My Luck starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine. She then portrayed the main role of Casey in the horror film The Children. In 2013 she starred in an American action drama film titled Walking with the Enemy as Hannah Schoen. Hannah will star in the fantasy adventure remake of The Jungle Book as Winifred; her first voice only performance.
