Katy Fox was the daughter of Norma Crow, the sister of Warren Fox and the foster sister of Spencer Gray.
Biography[]
1988-2007: Early Life[]
Katy Fox was born in September 1988 and was the younger sister of Warren Fox. Warren and Katy's parents supposedly died in a car crash when she was four years old, and Warren took care of her as they ended up in a care home. The pair later went through a number of foster homes - one of the last being with the Gray family, where Warren and Katy were abused by the parents, but befriended their son Spencer Gray. Warren began working at a young age to put Katy through private school. In 2006, Katy took a gap year in her education and travelled to America.
2007-2008: Time in Hollyoaks[]
Katy arrived in the village in April 2007, immediately catching the eye of Justin Burton and Sonny Valentine. With Sonny's encouragement and a little help from Dominic Reilly, Justin invited Katy to join him at The Loft. However, he was horrified to learn that The Loft's owner - Warren - was her brother! Katy was confused when Justin suddenly seemed uninterested in her, and went to Warren's business partner Clare Cunningham for help. However, after Warren went on a business trip to Brighton, Justin and Katy ended up sleeping together. Katy went to London for a few weeks and, not long after her return, was caught by Warren sleeping with Justin.
However, merely days later, Warren was arrested on suspicion of murdering missing businessman Sean Kennedy. After Warren threatened him, Justin told Katy about Warren killing Sean and ordering him to kill Clare. The pair planned to run away together, but Justin was struck by a van at the bus station in a hit-and-run. After Justin recovered, the pair fled again and returned in August, as Warren was on remand for after Clare was pushed off The Loft's balcony. She decided to stick around when Warren was attacked by a gang in prison, supporting him through his trial which returned a 'not guilty' verdict. To Katy's surprise, Warren made amends with Justin to stop Katy from studying in London.
As tensions between Warren and Clare rapidly escalated, Katy was caught in the middle as she ended up being Clare's hostage. During a car crash, Clare accidentally drove off a cliff and supposedly drowned, whilst Warren and Justin rescued Katy. Katy discovered that Justin had pushed Clare and ended their relationship. However, at a party at the Hall of Residence, a carbon monoxide leak caused all of the students to fall unconscious and were all rescued by Justin. Katy decided to give Justin another chance. Katy moved into the Halls and befriended Zak Ramsey, especially as Justin became focused on Nancy Hayton's custody battle over her nephew/Justin's biological son Charlie Dean. Her friendship with Zak soon turned into an affair, and the pair were later caught by Louise.
After Sean's body was found, Louise discovered that Katy knew Warren had killed Sean all along, and told Warren about the affair. After Warren refused to confess to the police - supported by Louise - Katy turned on her brother and his fiancée. Justin soon discovered Katy's affair with Zak and Katy realised that she couldn't remain in the village. After a heart-to-heart with Justin and a confrontation with Warren, Katy left the village for London.
2008-2023: Death and Aftermath[]
Katy died of a heroin overdose in January 2014, whilst Warren was in prison. After his release over two years later, Warren discovered that Bart McQueen supplied Katy the heroin that caused Katy's death. Warren beat him to death in April 2017 and buried him in Amy Barnes's grave. In November 2017, Warren discovered that his son Joel Dexter was also involved, but Tony Hutchinson prevented Warren from killing him. During the same month, Warren's ex-partner Sienna Blake gave birth to twins, and Warren tried to force her to name their daughter "Katy".
In August 2021, Warren's associate Fergus Collins managed to turn Warren against Joel by reviving old feelings about Katy's death. In September 2022, Warren discovered that his and Katy's mother was still alive and actually named Norma Crow, not "Tracy Fox". Norma was devastated to learn of Katy's death and seriously felt her absence. In September 2023, Warren discovered that Ella Richardson was his biological daughter and Norma developed a close bond with her, feeling guilty about missing out on Katy's life.

Background Information[]
- Actress Hannah Tointon quit the role of Katy in late 2007. In July 2016, Katy was revealed to have died off-screen and Tointon briefly reprised the role later in the year, appearing in video footage in February 2017.
