Scarlett Morgan is the ex-wife of Luke Morgan and the mother of Oliver Morgan. At some point after December 2001, Luke and Scarlett met and began a relationship. Scarlett later fell pregnant and gave birth to Ollie in April 2003. In July 2004, Luke and Scarlett married, with Luke informing his ex-girlfriend Mandy Richardson by letter. However, in around 2008, Scarlett took Ollie and left Luke as he had developed alcoholism.
Following their separation, Luke reconciled with Mandy and the pair got engaged. Luke had lawyer Sami Maalik track down Scarlett so Luke could file for divorce and marry Mandy. In January 2018, Scarlett arrived in the village with the intention of ruining the wedding, with Ollie following suit shortly afterwards. Mandy forgave Luke for keeping Ollie's identity a secret and a defeated Scarlett left with Ollie after the wedding. Ollie ended up running away from home, telling his mother that he wanted to stay with Luke. Scarlett agreed and returned home alone.
In April 2018, Scarlett returned to the village as Ollie had called her, wanting the pair to reconcile. Realising that Luke had turned his life around, Scarlett fell back in love with Luke and planned to win him back. Scarlett convinced Ollie to spike Luke's drink with alcohol, but Ollie confessed to Luke after he accused Scarlett of interfering. Luke told Scarlett to leave the village with Ollie, but Ollie managed to convince Luke to give him another chance. Scarlett ultimately left the village alone for a second time.
In September 2020, Ollie struggled to cope with the sexual abuse at the hands of Buster Smith, and being forced to give his son up for adoption. He ended up running away, with Scarlett informing Luke and his fiancée Cindy Cunningham that Ollie was staying with her. He returned to Luke in November 2020.
Scarlett returned to Hollyoaks in July 2022 for Luke's funeral, which she had not been invited to. She ended up fighting with Cindy, who tried to kick her out of the church. Ollie revealed that he was moving to Canada at the end of the week and Scarlett offered to move with him, but he turned her down. Scarlett then left.
